About IzyRace
IzyRace is a free app for Formula 1 predictions, mini-games and statistics. It is designed and developed by one person.
Who is behind IzyRace?
My name is Belqassim Djafer. I am a software developer by trade and a Formula 1 fan at heart. IzyRace was born from the wish to bring these two passions together: to build the app I wanted for predicting Grands Prix with my friends.
I work on IzyRace alone: the design, the development of the website and of the iOS and Android apps, and the follow-up of every race weekend.
An app shaped by its players
User feedback is what moves IzyRace forward. The scoring system, the mini-games, the driver comparison: many features started as an idea or a remark sent by a player. Every message is read.
Where does the data come from?
Results, standings and driver statistics come from public Formula 1 data sources (OpenF1 and Jolpica-F1) and are updated after each session. Circuit weather comes from Open-Meteo. The post-race quizzes are generated by artificial intelligence from the key moments of the Grand Prix. The Domination Score is IzyRace's own calculation; its formula is detailed in the FAQ.
An independent project
IzyRace is an independent, free project. It is not affiliated with Formula 1, the FIA or any team. The names and trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners.
